Date Posted: 06:08:23 02/11/06 Sat With all that said about no good pedigree and how thats true, it is better to find 1 or 2 honestly bred dogs and start your own line. If based on honesty first, then keep it honest, don't sell them. We have just recently farmed out 6 of 10 pups that are nice for the taking. 4 are still with us. I can be sure these 10 will not be used carelessly by a "buyer" nor will I lose control of the influence for the future of these dogs. John Colby in his beginning did the same and thats partly why you can buy a pure Colby dog today with honest pedigree. Its a shame what many people have done for the sake of competition and personal ego, many good dogs have been lost and pedigrees scrambled for those reasons.
