Hi Rosie...you are definitely right...if you are not involved or participate in any illegal activities, this should not be seen as a threat, nor was it meant to be posted as one. It was only information as to what's going on and who is watching what we do...whether it be legal or illegal. I simply posted it as "Something interesting"...Whether we want to believe it or not, there are still individuals who are passionate about preserving the core of OUR breed, especially the trait that seperates our breed from any other. It is only through these individuals, that we can continue to have the "game" bred dogs that some will spend a life time trying to acquire. It is only through these individuals who are still willing to carefully check and cull the good from the bad, that those of us, who aren't willing to do so ourselves, can continue to enjoy that trait which has been so well preserved for many, many years. Although there are many who might think that this attitude or acceptance of these individuals or their activities is barbaric or inhumane, we are ALL drawn to the breed for same reason...and that reason is not because they look pretty wearing pink ribbon or enjoy playing with the neighborhood poodles in the dog park down the street. We are all attracted to the attitude and strength which these fine animals have to offer as well as the courage of the most honorable gladiator...and still be as loyal, intellegent, and affectionate as any dog out there with the stability to be trusted with our families. I know that even you realize, by these people who are working to preserve this and risking procecution doing so, we all are able to continue enjoying the animals we feed. If it weren't for these individuals, we would all just be feeding your average pooch...and ours are definitely NOT average animals. I have been involved with this breed for many years...probably more then some of you have even been alive, and I would hate to see the authorities acheive what they have been trying to do for many years with breed specific legislation and targeting OUR dogs for persecution. This might sound like a rant/rave session, but it is harsh reality...these people would love nothing other then to bann our dogs and in order for those of us who love what we feed, we must get educated and take the time to inform ourselves as to what is happening out there. Just MY humble oppinion...BusterJohn

and for those individuals who see this thread as an opportunity to thrash or talk crap...think about this question:
What are YOU doing to help our cause??? It isn't about making money here people...it's all about making great dogs...STOP PEDDLING and start educating the younger generation who don't have a clue!!! Support your local APBT clubs as well as the EBA...you might need them someday...
