Subject: James Rowbotham b.1838 Cheadle, Berkley, Cheshire

Help!!

I have got stuck at James Rowbotham b.1838 Cheadle, Berkley, Cheshire. On 1861 census he was living with his wife Jane (Hyam) b.1840 in Sutton (Nr Hull). They both worked in a factory. James's occupation states Engine CJenter Factory and Jane's occupation states Cotton Winder.
In 1861 they did not have any chldren.

I have since found they had four children, Mary Jane (this is my line) b.1861 Hull, James b.1864 Hull, John Edwin b.1866 Hull and Albert b. 1868 Hull.

I would like some help to find out James's mother and father and also where and when James and Jane married.

Any help would be appreciated.

William Rowbotham living in Northern Etchells in 1861 is wrong for you. The James of this family was born in 1828 in Chorlton cum Hardy. This family also had a Daniel born in 1838 in Cheadle Bulkeley.
