I am looking for information on any of the following:
Thomas Rowbotham, born 1833 Ash field Sutton, Nottinghamshire. He moved to Houghton-le-Spring, married Mary Ann WELSH, born 1826, and fathered:
1. Mary Ann (Polly) 1854 - married Thomas GALLEY
2. Jane Hannah 1855 - married George Wilson & moved to Australia
3. Robert Welsh 1856- married Isabella GALLEY in 1877
4. Elizabeth (Lizzy) 1864 married Isaac Nichol
Robert Welsh Rowbotham 1856 fathered:
1. Priscilla 1878
2. John 1880
3. Edith 1883
4. Thomas 1884 married Florence HANDLEY, born 1885 daughter of James and Ellen
5. Elizabeth 1887
6. Jane Hannah 1889
There is family mention of a second wife, Jane Ann, but I cannot find any record of this lady. I believe the family was Methodist.

I am descended from the Father of Mary Ann Welsh who married Thomas Rowbotham. I have another 5 generations back for you.

Thank-you Angela for your info. The Welsh family must have been very close as Mary Ann named her son Robert Welsh Rowbotham and his daughter, in turn, named her son Robert Welsh etc etc. I'll write you privately, but wanted to say Thanks out loud. . . .

Iam trying to do a portrait of six generations . My great great grandmother was Mary Ann WELSH and I am hoping some one would have a photo of her . I have photos of Jane Hannah, but hope to find a photo of her mother Mary Ann Welsh , can you help
