Subject: Julia Ann ROWBOTHAM / John WHITE Oswego, NY and OH

I am in search of Julia Ann ROWBOTHAM (various spellings s.a. Rohobottom)who married John WHITE born about 1828. Julia has also been found in the census' as Ann WHITE.

I have their marriage record from Oct 7th, 1856 and a copy of the family bible and it appears that he was born in North Adams, NY and she was born in Orwell, NY. And I believe he was leaving in Sandy Creek, NY which I have found in census records. I have a belief that he may be related possibly to Daniel White who married Jane ROWBOTHAM, however, can't seem to find any evidence.

Julia ROWBOTHAM was born in Orwell, NY. Curious to know if maybe the kids were split up since none of the ROWBOTHAM children were living with their parents. Jane ROWBOTHAM was living with the Salisbury family in the 1850 U.S. Federal Census. All of the ROWBOTHAM children's parents were from England.

Julia ROWBOTHAM and her brother Robert ROWBOTHAM (Abt. 1839) were both born in Orwell, New York. They were entered as Julia Ann ROHOBOTTOM and Robert ROHOBOTTOM. They were living in Oswego, New York with William BEECHER (1789) and LUCY BEECHER (1789). I am trying to find who Julia and Robert�s parents were and how they relate to the BEECHER�s. It has been told over the years that the family�s blood line goes back to Harriet BEECHER-STOWE family.

I have found 1 newspaper extraction through the Penfield Library for Julia Ann Rowbotham� wedding announcement for Oct 7, 1855. However, it is unavailable through this library and at my local AZ library. There are several for John White, however not sure if this is the same John White.

John WHITE (1828) and Julia ROWBOTHAM (abt. 1842) both were born in New York and eventually moved to East Toledo, Ohio. Their Marriage record shows they were married in Oswego, NY and William and Lucy BEECHER signed it as their witnesses. I would like to know more about their lives and who their parents may have been.

They had 4 children, John J.WHITE (25Mar1865 in East Toledo, Ohio), William WHITE (June 15 in Toledo, OH), Samuel WHITE (19 May 1874 in Toledo, OH) and Frederick WHITE (7 FEB 1868).
I would like to find more information on the WHITE / ROWBOTHAM /BEECHER family.
