Subject: 18th CENTURY AUSTRALIAN ROWBOTHAMS

Looking for info on Edward Rowbotham from the Sheffield area. Born about 1820, went to Australia about 1840 & married there in 1855. Family had a cutlery/silver works in the Sheffield area. Have lots of info regarding his family while in Australia. Would like some info on where the came from and his family in the U.K.

Have you checked the County index for Derbyshire on this site?
There are two Edwards there.
One bapt at Eckington on 5/10/1823 and the other at Chapel en Le Frith on 12/7/1829.
