Hello,
Just thought I'd check back at this site and found your message.
Sadly, I don't have Ellen's parents names yet, but I do have some more information.
An aunt has recently supplied me with my grandfather's 'birthday list'! In there, underneath his father's name is Ellen's name with the date of 5th August 1851 next to it.
There is also reference to a James Rowbotham further down the list - born April 1st 1855, died August 16th 1895 and next to this, Ada Rowbotham born September 14th 1868 and died March 31st 1891.
My aunt also confirmed that they were in Manchester for a while with possibility of 4 children, not 3 as I originally mentioned - 1 missing Annie Lloyd, born 21st December 1881, died 20th December 1882 - sad, as my maiden name is Anne Lloyd and I was born on 21st December too!
I don't know if you can tie this in with anything but I appreciate any help I can get.

Hello,
Have just got the marriage certificate of Edward Lloyd and Ellen Rowbotham. Ellen's father was Adam Rowbotham - profession wheelwright. Her residence was 22 St. Andrews St.
