Rowbottom in New Zealand
One of my ancestors went to New Zealand, his name was George he was born 1895 in Wakefield son of Hugh and Sarah.
He was my Grandpa's brother. I know George emigrated to New Zealand. He had a son Frank who married a lady called Jean Swallow, Who I met many years ago. They lived in Tasmania.

Have you read the Pioneer letters too and from New Zealand in the 1800's? See the link at the bottom of the website.

My Grandmother (paternal) was Kate Robotham (some documents have Kathleen / Rowbotham). She came from Norwich to Wellington about 1924 with my infant Father. Her parents were William & Elizabeth (nee Middleton). She had several siblings but there are no surviving records of her maintaining contact with her family (if she did). I am interested in any links in common.
