The howl is heard 'cross the icy fields. There stands the alpha alone with his son. He knew this howl and what it ment. Newcomers. Picking up the cub, he bounds towards Darkness, Elena, and the others. He slithers through the shadows, silence ringing from his steps. He appears beside his packmates, and sets the cub down. he looks at the newcomers with his oddly colored eyes-one icy blue, one emrald green. At last, his maw opens as he speaks.

"Greetings. I am Akira, alpha male of this pack," he says. "This is my son Keso. I shall warn you now- no harm shall be bestowed upon him, or one shall pay with their lives."
