The alpha's ear swiveled as Elena walked away. He kept a harsh, unnerving gaze on Falissi. His keen ears had caught the sarcasm in her voice. And he had seen the way she looked at Elena. Anger rose within him, and a strong urge to protect the beta he was so fond of. At last he speaks. "You are welcome here. But just be careful not to rub anyone's fur the wrong way," he says in a low, silky voice. With that he took the femme's muzzle in his jaws ands shook slightly in a show of dominance. Then he walked away.
