The rising serenade of three voices resonated about the terra, drowning out all other sounds-for a few seconds, it was the only thing that could be heard. The howl was eerie, yet unwavering, sending chills down every lupines' spine. Eerily, it sounded as if there were four voices instead of three...The eerie quality doubled until it filled every heart with an uneasy feeling. Undoubtedly, it was loud enough to be heard even in the light pack. Three voices, flying high with the wind, sending birds fluttering and rabbits racing to their dens, yet listeners would interpret it as four, the sound of the fourths' silence loud enough to become its' own howl. It was a song of death, a song of killing and war, like no other ever heard before..
The midnight pelted male melted from the nearby umberage, crania held high and auds pricked, though flicking back once in a while to catch bits of his siblings mini conversation. He agreed with them; the alpha wanted to atack too early, they were still wary of newcomers..But Holocaust said nothing-if the female wanted to do it this way, Holocaust would fall through with it. At least, to a certain degree. The large male halted, plume twitching slightly in anticipation, orbs glowing brightly.
Suicide bounded from the shadows to skid to a halt beside Holo, tongue lolling out and saliva driiping from her maw to spatter the icy ground below. She stretched, yawning widely for no apparent reason, plume held high and wagging happily-blood would be drawn.
Massacre appeared on the other side of the border, apparently having wandered off on his own. Blood stained his maw, but from what it was unclear. He smoothly halted just short of the matriarch, black muzzle held closed, orbs sparkling with his amusement.
The last plague slipped from the nderbrush as silent as a snake, where she began to pace slowly, like a captive cougar. Her visage was an uninterpretable mask, orbs like ice.
