Sierra walked stifly into the clear clean water of the stream. She sighed and relaxed her muscles as the water flowed past and washed the blood from her fur. When she was clean, she looked around slowly. She smiled and took a deep breath. She plunged head first into the water, and paddled for a few strokes. She swam out into the center of the stream, and then to the other shore. She stepped out and shook the water from her fur, feeling refreshed. Sierra looked to the woods and had a notion to go exploring. She smiled and trotted off into the trees. She paused to look over her shoulder and bark to the others and let them know that she wouldbe back.
