They are trapped in the pit of hatred
Misery, pain, and perversion
Never smiling, nor do they care
Burning their skin there clothes start to bare
There's a screaming inside that only he can hear
he laughs each time they shed a tear
It gets hotter and hotter as the sorrow grows
Who are these people? Nobdody knows
You lead an evil life, so now you must pay
he says thank you for coming and have a nice stay.

This was written during my Metallica phase, hence the gloom.

Who is the being that thank you for coming, and he laughs every time they shed a tear? God? Satan? Who?

Satan of course! How in the world would it be God? That would be terrible!
