>Hi Rufus
Hi Paul.....how come you started a new thread?

>,To start with I did know there are more
>Muslims than Christians but that doesnt automatically
>make you right

1. You had better prepare yourself for Quittner: he has a Christian source that states otherwise!
2. ...make me right about what? I was offering an interesting anecdote, not making a judgement statement.

>,in fact Jesus said the majority are on
>the road to destruction and the minority on the road
>to life.MAT7*13-14.

I think Jesus was referring to "non-believers" Paul; not Muslims! Wow.....JW's teach you to apply bible scripture like this? Are you even remotely aware of the implications of your words? Their wrong and you're right? Based on your bible.....and yet you haven't read the Koran. Paul, you come across as a very ignorant person, and unfortunately, I am very opinionated and blunt.... thus, need to point this out.

>==You asked whos body Jesus used at
>his resurrection,no ones it was a fresh body created
>for that one purpose only, after which it was no
>more.

Ok.....I'll bite: He came back to the aplostles for one last meeting?.......why? and what proof of this is there....meaning, where in the bible, that was written by God, does it say this event took place?

>R:== "If Jesus has reigned in heaven since 1914
>what has God been doing.P:JW believe we are still in
>Gods day of rest GEN2*3

Paul, Gen. 2:3 clearly states that "God" rested: not all of us. We are going through all of this crap on this planet, and this is just the "REST" stage!!!!????? So far, I am extremely unimpressed with the JW religion as a reliable or reputable source of interpretation of the bible.

>and that day will end when
>Gods kingdom or goverment under Jesus christ bring the
>earth back to the paradise conditions God originally
>intended it to be,then on completion of that work
>Jesus hands all authority back to his father.1
>COR15*20-28.

My bible only goes up to Cor.13!!! Does Cor stand for Corinthians? Why does your bible have more than 13 chapters/sections? I thought the bible was the word of God...how can a particular faith simply "add" more chapters? I must be missing something, right?

==No I havent read the Koran,I have all
>the answers I need in the bible and it really doesnt
>matter how many similarities there are it isnt the
>bible and to me the bible is Gods word.

Paul....1. the Koran "IS" God's word if you are a Muslim and God spoke to Muhummad (sp.), the prophet, "after" God spoke to Moses: this fact of history (phrase applied loosely) makes the Koran the 'bible' of choice by default.
Why did God speak to this prophet after speaking to Moses and not let Christians in on it (or JW's for that matter)? Please don't repond that it 'doesn't matter to you'. This conflict alone is enough to disprove many a query re: the existence of God.
Paul.....2. the fact you are not open to any other evidence/truth/ideas that might be contrary to your beliefs makes you ignorant and unworthy of opinion. Are you saying that person A can read one source of information and argue against person B who has read many sources, including sources from 'BOTH' sides of the argument and honestly state that what person A believes is more relevant? Paul, I'm not even an expert and I find holes in your logic/beliefs.
You have stated that evolution is a fairy tale here on another post. I have read your responses on voy.com/22190/ .
Over and over, you admit or imply that all you need is what you have been taught by other JW's and the 'bible'.

Sooooo, this proves you are not capable of thinking in an 'original' manner. Where does Paul begin and the teachings of Jehovah end? More importantly, Paul...... should the fact that you are not capable of questioning something that you have no proof of, bother you? There is no proof that Jehovah exists.
It does bother me, Paul. Not because I feel I have any answers or that I am conceited or arrogant or any other label you can think of. It bothers me since so many people seem to be void of asking questions at a time where science has, at least, offered up substantial evidence to question the direction all of us might take. I do not accept 'faith' in light of this evidence and I have not made a choice.
You have: I wish to know why. Why is evolution a fairy tale? Micro evolution is proven, Paul. How long until macro evolution is?......when it is......people like you will have been "manipulated" toward acceptance.....and religion will back teack to the next "state" of the universe that can't be explained: perhaps the big bang (there's lots of evidence for that too, Paul.) You're not ready for it, though.

==You asked who
>I meant had a short period of time. The Devil, time is
>running and he knows it,so hes trying to driveas many
>as possible from Gods truth.

How? By getting me to post here and question everyone's faith?.....not my goal.....I am seeking answers to questions. As I stated, there is enough evidence to at least question the existence of God, and certainly, if nothing else: RELIGION!!!.....especially yours. The absurdity of 144 000 people being selected: I had never heard of the rest of the chosen being here on earth to be governed over.......I was hoping there wouldn't be any politicians in the next life! And why do Jw's give God a name: Jehovah? Why all the different names for the same God?

>only God and
>his son know,I leave it in their hands.

Hypothetical query (relatively): I do not acknowledge your religion and I think it is absurd: If I lead a good and moral life, will I be one of the chosen? If not, do you really not understand the difficulties religion creates? If nothing else, Paul, at least answer this question.

>And I repeat
>those who have the hope of living forever on the earth
>do not consider it a relegation, why is it only those
>on the outside looking in who consider it relegation?

I have never 'viewed' it any way: until now. Paul, what is the difference whether someone is 'with' God or is down on earth being governed by Him? If there is a difference, then would that not create some animosity and thus the perceived situation regarding relegation you seem to defend?

With all do respect, Paul, I do not care whether you believe in God or not; this belief is harmless in and of itself. I just don't understand why you wish to remain ignorant re: information, ideas and research that offers evidence that is contrary to your beliefs. Stating that you only need the bible makes you a laughing stock if it turns out it is nothing more than a collection of metaphors and such. You just don't believe it will. I believe you are wrong in this assumption. It matters not: no God would ever allow something like religion to take root and evolve the way it has: no thing but man would do this.
The ground work is already being laid, one needs only to open their eyes. Because of people like you, with your beliefs and refusals to believe anything contrary, man is incapable of progressing toward further enlightenment..... which may, IRONICALLY, lead to a life where we are capable of living in a manner that is consistent with your beliefs!!!

I believe religion is a disease, Paul. You are a symptom. When man rises up out of this ignorant state, there will be hope.
BTW: maybe a God did create all of this: I am seeking this truth out myself (researching many sources, not just the bible).......I do not believe He meant religion or worship of anything related. What sould be the point unless HE sticks around and physically receives the worship?
