Arching his heavily muscled neck, he peered over the door and nimbly considered the various ways it had been latched, swiftly dealing with all but the ones he couldn't reach - he was terrible for escaping, he knew all the tricks of the trade. The majority unlatched, he had only to turn and buck at the door until it flew open with a crash, the undid latches merely ripping from the door and frame with the pressure. Prancing in a showoff manner out into the light, he once again sought out the mare this time with detirmination. This time around, whatever may arise, he would not be dragged away until affairs were settled.
The sound of her lonely, sad whinny still echoed in his thoughts, but he bugled a triumphant call of his own, celebrating his escape as he moved out into a canter towards the femme-
