Subject: ixTV material for Mac OS 9.1 installation (Beige G3)

I benefitted greatly from this message board, in making an ixMicro card work in a beige G3 Mac of about 233MH. It's running OS 9.1 (which implies a driver issue--see below)

Accordingly, I'd like to share what I learned and can provide. Getting sound was the big problem, and I finally read the manual, which explained how to use an external jumper from the card to the microphone input. Works just great now.

The DVD/CD driver from an older operating system (1.2.2) was recommended by someone on this board, and I also obtained and installed that.

I have the installation CD also, and will attempt to send the contents to this board as well (assuming not too large).

Note that the back cover of the manual with an ixMicro desktop key code is shown in the PDF--I believe this unlocks the desktop software, though I used another working number supplied by someone on this board.

Here's the problem. This board does not seem to allow attachments. Can Bill or someone else tell me how to contribute the PDF manual, the driver, and the CD contents, perhaps by FTP'ing it somewhere?

regards
