Subject: Ultimate Rez in 9600/400

I picked up a pair of 8-meg ixMicro cards on eBay and put the Ultimare Rez into my 9600/400 G3 (OS8.6) and the Twin Turbo into my 7600/233 (OS9.1).
The software installers I downloaded were the "ix3D 2.00.616 Installer" for the UR and the "Twin Turbo™ Software 4.06" for the TT.
The TT works just fine in the 7600 but I find that I have to re-install the software in the 9600 about once per month. The symptom is random lines and horizontal flack in the menu bar and upper third of the screen when I launch Explorer or Outlook.
Do I have a conflict ?
