Subject: greenish screen on boot

system specs: ppc7500 with g3upgrade (littlejoe 270mhz), no vram installed, twinturbo 8mb, os8.6, eizo flexscan monitor.

after booting 1st. time the video resolution usually behaves normaly (8xx x 6xx 75mhz, color depht i have set to thousands), monitor is reported as multysync; when I have to reboot, the image is greenisch, resolution is set to 640x480, and the monitor is not recognized. color depht is set to millions. reducing the color depht and rebooting mostly does not help, i.e. screen comes up as described.

the driver (4.06) is recognized and i can access the control panel. resolution changes made in the monitor-options are reflected in the twinturbo's control panel and vice-versa.

after some hours off, the display behaves ok.

someone got any ideas?
