Subject: TT128/PowerCenter Pro/9.1?

Hello:

I am running Apple's imovie 2 on my PowerCenter Pro with your XLR8 G3 400 carrier zip upgrade. Mac OS 9.1, 300mb RAM (60ns) IMS Twin Turbo 128 video card and Quantum Atlas III 7,200 rpm HD on an 20mps ultra scsi bus (60mhz). When I import a DV movie clip into iMovie or try to open it in Quicktime Pro 5, the audio/video is intermittent and choppy. I am trying to configure this machine to use for a non-profit dv workshop for disadvantaged kids this June and we plan to use iMovie as editing software.

My questions:

Can this machine be configured to work with iMovie/Quicktime?

Is there something I could do to upgrade the PCC machine to handle the DV?

Do I need to upgrade the TT128 drivers and if so which is compatible with Mac OS 9.1?

Any help with this would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you,

Joel Beeson
