Subject: ixTV killed my MAC !!!!!!

hello guys! i really need your help as i'm re-born mac user after 5 years... i've got PowerPc 6500/250 (as i thought it's better to upgrade with Sonnet card than buy G3) with built-in ATI 3D Rage II chip and i've found this nice TV tuner. I didn't know what's that exacly but after couple of nights online i found out it's IXMICRO TV tuner (all what I could see was: IMS Inc. IXMICRO TV decoder #9608-3-303-1).
I didn't have any drivers and didn't know the details. After two sleepless nights i found this great site i installed your driver.
After restart my mac didn't respond. I could start it only by reseting extensions.
DO YO KNOW WHAT HAPPENED???!!!
I'm not sure but maybe Quick Time is messing (perhaps I went to far with updating Quick Time). I run (I wish it runs) Mac OS 9.1. Where's the problem?
