Subject: tt128 Bit Depth

Have PT-Pro250 with Twin Turbo card. Installed drivers downloaded from this site. In control panel for monitors I only a choice of 256 colors or thousands of colors @ 1024x768 at all refresh rates. The monitor is an older 19" Supermatch and I'm running OS/8.6. However @ 832X624 I do get millions of colors. Is it time to get rid of this monitor? Or is there something else I can do?
