Glad to get onto a lighter subject, Selneth replies, "Your people are greatly feared for their battle prowess, and I doubt that all of that reputation is from the protection of your Goddess. It also doesn't help that many of the Cehancien that outsiders have seen are the ones bonded to the most powerful, threatening creatures - and that those who have seen them have been so frightened by it that the tales are most likely blown out of sane proportions. Not to insinuate that you aren't fearsome," he adds, "but many of the stories involve three-headed creatures twisted by magic, or people ten feet tall that bear glowing blades enchanted by their Goddess."
