Thanks, hon. I'm glad Birkoff and Walter managed to make brief (this applies especially in Walter's case, come to think of it... LOL *g*) appearances in this tale. They might have had larger parts ;-P (Zute *never* sleeps, it seems... LOL *g*) but Mikey and Kita sort of found active and creative ways of filling in the storyline ;-P--and, when it comes to Mikey, everyone else seems to wind up with smaller parts. %-} Strange, how that happens. LOL *vwg* ;-P Okay, so I'm also a marshmallow when it comes to M&N's happiness and I can't resist it when Mikey makes the Muses and myself 'offers we *can't* refuse.' LOL *g* It's the way he says "come wit me, please"--I *love* that. *g* ;-P
I do like the bits of the relationship between Michael and Birkoff that we occasionally got to see in the series. These scenes actually accounted for a fair bit of the humor and comedy in the series. The "what should I do" with the door--"open it!" scene and the "You can trust me" "If you betray me, I'll kill you" "That's why you can trust me scenes," among others. :-D Michael was always sneaking up on Birkoff with his natural, panther-like grace, too--I always loved that. LOL *g*
