It's very easy, actually: Just give him whatever he wants! LOL In the case of this story, it was lots n' lots of yummy nooky with Nikita. ROTFLOL *g* He was *most* cooperative once he found out he was going to get to do some 'fantasy rollplaying' with Spygal and that this was *definitely* going to be a heavily NC 17 piece. LOL *g* He even let me put him in a *Cookie Monster* outfit, for Pete's sake! LOL And, his wicked sense of humor came out of the closet, too, which was lots of fun. *g* He was giving me helpful suggestions all over the place--made me offers I *just* couldn't refuse, and wouldn't want to even if I could! LOL *wg* In fact, I sometimes had trouble getting Nikita and Michael to stop doing *research* and 'practice sessions' long enough to get the actual chapters down on the keyboard. (There's a few that didn't make it in, like Michael wanted to have a 'breakfast' scene with Nikita on the kitchen table--maybe in another story, hmmm? *g*) LOL *g* You're probably trying to get him to do mission stuff or making him deal with Ops and Maddy, or SOTWs. No wonder he's being obstinate. LOL *g* Zute offered him 'nothing but nooky' with Nikita, and, boy, howdy, did he ever want... ummmmmm... *in* on that project! LOL *g* Just give Mikey lots of screen time with Nikita, or with his son, Adam, too--he loves that little guy and he's such a great Dad. Quit putting him into dire, angsty pickles--or at least have some nice scenes mixed in there, too. LOL He hates having to spend any time in medlab--you know that. LOL *g* Work *with* what Mikey wants, instead of struggling against him. That's what I did. He was *always* off in the back room, plotting things with Zute and the gals. LOL *g* In *regular* fanfic, though, of course Michael is difficult to write--he's so self-contained, stoic, perfect, and speaks in monosyllables. Not easy to represent, in a story! ;-D Of course, stories need angst and conflict--but, offer Mikey a few sweet moments, too, and maybe he'll be more cooperative. *g* {{{{{{{JB}}}}}}}}}} All work and no play makes Mikey want to run away. LOL *g* He gets enough of that stuff in the *regular* Section. LOL *g* I'd be stubborn and obstinate, too, if people kept trying to put me into the kinds of situations that fanfic writers tend to dream up for Spyboy. LOL You can't make Mikey do anything he doesn't want to--so, find out what (Zute adds: "Or whom" LOL *hee hee hee* ;-P ) he *does* want to do, would be my suggestion. *g*

Hugs,
Sanlin, Zute, and the Muses--remember, Mikey can do anything he wants... but, what *he* wants and what *you* want might not be the same things! LOL *g* He's going to win, anyway--you know he is... He's *Michael.* So, let him--and that way you, your Muses, and Michael will all win! :-D
