Gads, what a background story on Operations! I'd often wondered about that crazed look in his eyes sometimes, but this makes it all clear now. NO one could go through what he'd gone through and not be changed...

In light of all the things going on in Afghanistan, this story is quite timely. Makes me both love and hate the military, but for much more definite reasons than I had before for being ambiguous about it all.

Thanks, RoxanneKean - clarity is scary, but it's also a very cleansing factor. Suddenly, my life doesn't seem so bad at all...
