i couldn't pick just one so here's a few to deliberate over...

the beatles magical mystery tour - this one kind of scared me as a child - don't ask, but yes i was genuinely frightened of an LP cover. anyway, it sort of encapsulates the whole psychedelic thing, with wild colours, and kinda gives you headache if you look at it for too long (like cream's disraeli gears too). the beatles are all dressed in strange animal costumes, there's a walrus, whatever john lennon is he still has his glasses on and i'm sure maccas in a rabbit outfit. years of therapy wasted there.

another favourite - "in the court of the crimson king" by king crimson. it's a big close-up of some really ugly man who's screaming (again quite scary when you're a young child). he has gigantic nostrils, wide eyes, uneven teeth and a kinda mauve complexion.

physical graffiti by led zeppelin too, i like that. it's simply the front of a block of appartments, erm... that's about it. anyhow, it reminds me of a david hockney painting i like.

one more - "pictures at an exhibition" by emerson, lake and palmer. it shows a wall with frames hung on it, with no pictures in them, plus titles underneath these non-pictures... well, i like it anyway.

byebye
