A golden filly flitting through the trees. Like a shaft of sunlight, she rears. The dapples on her hide dance like captured sunbeams. She watches. Her nostrils dilate and her liquid amber eyes rove the horizon. A stallion's scream rings out, piercing the air. With a toss of her head, Torrent melts into the scrub and waits.
