Ebony stallion follows the filly through the snowgums. He keeps to the shadows. Becoming a dancing shadow himself. Sunlight filters through the trees. Sunbeam spotlights dance on his ebony coat, shimmering Indigo.

The Shadow Stallion emerges into a clearing. The splashes of silver on his rump flash gold in the sunlight. He tosses his mane of black and silver, stars twinkling in a velvet sky. A low whinney escapes him, calling the filly.

Never had he seen another so like him. Moondust Cappelles were rare. He shuddered with excitement. Electricity crackled on his Ebony coat. His skin crawled. Again, he whinnied, trembling with excitement.

Would she show herself...
