.fiery stallion's small, pert ears pricked at the sound of Sam's terrified scream. slender legs propelled the chestnut throughbred forward and toward the sight of the dragon, wheeling around with a frightened whinnie. dark, intelligent eyes fell upon his mistress and pride quickly ambled over. extending his whiskery nose to her in affection and sorrow, the fiesty stallion wheeled again with a challenging cry. he may love no one truly, but he would try to protect Sam and his family.
