The grey horse approaches, his very feet pounding on the concrete in a symphoney of noise. His long wavy mane, tangled with burs, cascaded down the side of his thick and elegant neck. He was a champion, all right, but has been mistreated and undercared for. His chocolate eyes scan for a human, heart racing in fear. Looking overand seeing the one all of the Equines call "Abbey" he trots over and nudges her chest, face pleading in an attempt to say, "Will you keep me"
