Subject: Golden Robe

Fingers of dawn peeped behind grey clouds, dancing coral shadows on stormy grey. The world was bathed in a silvery hue, fronds of icy mist rose into the air, vaporising as rays of sunlight warmed them. The air was damp, a gentle breeze twisted and turned, swaying the long blades of lush grass.

S i l e n c e

A silver filly emerged from a cave. A smokey grey foal walked tentatively behind her, hiding in her long silver rose tail. Dew drops entwined in his ashen mane and tail, perched on his fine whiskers. A ray of brilliant sunlight burst forth from a cloud. The fronds of silver mist weaved into a golden robe. A robe fit for a King. The tiny colt left his mother's side, letting the golden veil caress his smokey hide.

The two horses of the Dawn roamed far and wide. Two silhouettes against the pink steaked sky.

As they left, a tinkling melody echoed the lands...a call of thanks...grateful the wise steed, Wildfire, had let them stay.
