As she trots through the snowgums, she catches a glimpse of the other filly. Torrent was older ,3, but she resembled Gilay in many ways. They both had the same golden coat, though Gilay's had a silver sheen.

She prances up to the filly, chocolate tail fluttering behind her. Her nostrils dilate and her amber eyes show warmth and playfulness.

Where was she planning on going?

Since she had no stallion, Torrent could accompany Gilay if she wanted until they were claimed. She whuffs a greeting, golden coat shimmering in the sun, dapples glittering.
