*She rubs him reassuringly and leads him up one step and then back one step to get his mind off of the girth. She hums quietly and tightens the girth all the way. She then does stretches to loosen any skin under the girth. She gently takes both front legs, one at a time and pulls them gently forward. She does the same with the front legs. After she pats him on the neck and starts to lead him to the training arena.
