 "Well, yes, I was human once." she paused once thinking of where to begin. "It was so long ago, I cant even remember when, but, I had a family. I had a little girl named Hope and she was just a baby. I had been forced to marry someone I didnt love. It was for the money and the family name that he offered." she thought about how she resented her parents for ruining her life. "I loved Hope though, she was the light of my life, with her little blonde curls and she had the bluest eyes. One year, the influenza struck the town in England where I lived and Hope caught it, so did her father. They both died within a few days. I was said to be 'lucky' but i couldnt see how i was lucky with my baby girl gone." her eyes were glassy as she thought about the little one who had touched her heart. "I became depressed in the worst of ways and I slit my wrists one night. While I was passed out was when i was bitten." she paused a moment. "I wanted to die that night.... not die then keep on living." a single tear fell down her cheek. "Untill i had met you, I still wished I could have finished what I started that night. Now I have something to live for and it's ok. I just wish I could take back some things I did in my past." she moved with him, her smaller frame against his own, feeling the warmth of his kiss.
