This explains why a lot of people have said the single player game is too easy. I suspect these bugs would not have changed the first chapter much, but for those who started going further, you may want to consider this. Apparently the 1.18 patch caused monsters to not use their special attacks, thus dragons wouldn't use their breaths, etc. ETA on a patch is "very soon", but until then, I'm uninstalling and reinstalling, as I don't want to go through a wimpy single player.
