I was told to get Gamespy, ya, it works, but finding a game isn't really possible unless you have a bunch of folks on your buddy list to contact. My account name is Cedia (as is my character name), feel free to contact me.
Anyway, I'm sorry you're cancelling DAoC. I became disenchanted with the game myself, but then changed servers and hooked up with a bunch of nice folks who are really into roleplaying. That's the key, I think, since the basic level fest design of the game is extremely flawed. Still, I've found no greater avenue to meet new people to RP/write stories with than DAoC. As a matter of fact, I'm setting up a cross-realm scenario with another player as we speak. We plan to have our toons meet in the game in the frontier, then switch to ICQ chat so that we can actually interact. RPing the language barrier will be really fun, I think, and then we're going to write stories about it from our respective viewpoints.
Anyhow, to make a long story short, you might check out the NWN section at percivalserver.com. There a lot of people have posted their Gamespy account/character names. Unfortunately, they don't seem to play when I do (seems I'm the only earlytobed/earlytorise person around anymore), so I haven't had any luck.
I gave up on the single player NWN after I got to the prison. Kinda like sex, pretty boring when you do it alone.
