 I don't think it's impossible to pull off - with an army of DMs and a LOT of advance work creating ready-made NPCs with the proper behaviors - but you may find when you actually try it that the nature of the medium just doesn't lend itself to it. And, while Aurora is a light from heaven itself, the DM client SUCKS ASS.
But, farbeit for me to underestimate the power of human stubbornness. We shall see. :)
