The biggest problem that still remains with DMing a game is that the DM client is remarkably unstable - but it has been fixed on their side, and will be fixed with the next patch. We hope. ;)

>How "prepared" do DM's need to be before

It's hard to say. I think the DM needs to know the module's he's running pretty well in order to do a decent job DMing it. I think the approach we're taking with Faalor (build a big world, then add plot and characters) is better than trying to do a different module for each adventure, because then you're stuck with whatever areas you had written for that campaign. The disavantage of that approach is that it takes a lot longer for anything to start up :)

>How well can one RP in the

Pretty well, we've played through a few modules in a pseudo-RP fashion. There are built in emotes (that could even be hotkeyed) and personally I love the ability to quickly draw/sheath one's sword and remove/put on one's helm. I think small things like that really add to the atmosphere. All in all, it doesn't work against you when it comes to roleplaying, and helps out in a few ways.

?How stable connection can be/is? I know

The connections can be pretty stable, we've run a game for a few hours before. The big trouble is trying to get the DM client to not-crash, but that should be fixed soon. I don't feel terribly constrained by NWN, no more than I did by some things in UO ("Look! Everything's perfect! Oh, please PRETEND I'm an Elf.") They're both restrictive in different ways. Not sure what you mean by ruleset though ;)

Yeah, I'm working on a module that's actually generated some interest, meaning I need to actually finish it :P Blah. Heheh. It's just a single player thing though, I can't guarantee it will work well in multiplayer. Not sure what others are working on, I heard Floria and Carn are working on a module but I'm not sure what it's about.

Hope that helps some :P
