The problem with a big party like we had that day was that it became near impossible to keep check on who's getting hurt. I still found the best way to see who needs healing is to move my mouse-pointer over the characters to see their 'Uninjured', 'Injured', etc. status.
It kind of makes me wonder, though, why we have parties at all? The only thing I can think of is because you split the XP.
On the other hand, there are several downsides. For one, partymembers -always- show up on the mini-map. If your character is ever trying to hide from the party for whatever reason, the players (not the chars, though) will know where you are. I can see this being annoying.
Also, a character that uses the 'hide' skill can be spotted quicker if he is in your own party.
Another thing to consider is that several magic spells, such as 'Chain Lightning' (I think it was that one, anyway) target 'Enemies' and not 'Anybody'. The people in your party are set to 'Friend' status. This means there is no way of hurting a partymember with said spell - not even when cast directly on them. This could be very handy, but I can imagine it can be very annoying as well depending on your character's motives.
Just some thoughts I was having. Perhaps we should switch to manually formed parties instead of the 'One Party' server option so characters can always drop out of parties when necessary.
Still, I wish there was an easier way to see a character's health status than the current implented methods.
