Play times... *shudders* Scheduling... *shudders again* Those things are terrrrrrible to try to balance. Any of us who have tried to set up meetings online knows that. Heck setting up meetings IRL is a pain in the arse too! hehe

My suggestion is that you just set up four or five hour sessions, two or three times a week, then ask people to sign up for one or more sessions. Have people sign up for sessions in order of preference... that way if someone can attend more than one, you know that and you know which session is their preferred one. If people can only attend one you also know that. If people can attend none... then well it's up to you but you could always say, "I'm really sorry, sounds like your schedule might be too busy for this game."

And that way the DMs set the schedule and can be there for sure... and if someone signs up for a session, they're agreeing they can be there too at least on a semi regular basis (barring trips etc that come up IRL occassionally).

I'm with you Lee in that my experiences were mostly from table top gaming at least until uo came along. When we played table top back in the day, we only met once or maybe twice a week to play. NWN is based off of a table top game, not a persistent world like uo. I hope to get at least some similuation of what I used to enjoy with table top gaming... at least as much as I can with a computer game anyway. :) Thanks for putting this together. I look forward to playing if my schedule allows. :)
