The world seems interesting. I'll be trying it out sometime soon.

Speaking of persistant worlds, though, the ALFA persistant world is going into Beta on September 1st. I'll be able to check it out by then and see if it is at all any good. ALFA is a collection of about two dozen servers (right now, more are on the way) and DMs, as well as several assistant DMs. RPing is enforced and there is also a perma-death system in place, using a modified version of HCR. (check out www.alandfaraway.net if you want to know more)
Member applications are put on hold though, since there are more than 700 people who signed up so far.
