If I understand Lee correctly. He was refering mainly to many of the mundain craftsman skills. For example, UO's carpentry, tailoring, and tinkering. Although these are completely legitimate and in fact useful skills, they would realy have no place in NWN as far as the PC is concerned. NWN being more suited for small adventuring groups.

Imagine writing a module for the town carpenter... As said, truely better suited for a more "massively multi-player game".

More useful skills such as fire starting, hunting and gathering, would of course have a place in an adventuring PC's life. They are, in many cases, nessary to survival.
