Alright...

Personally, I think putting our characters in a party is dumb all together. We don't share xp (cuz there isn't any) and that's basically the only reason for having it, unless you don't want to be hit by fellow players. LAME!

I look at it like this: We role play together because we're comfortable with each other and we know how everyone plays their character. Whenever we make mods, we always put the shout out to the same 10-12 people and we all play...

What's the point of even role playing if we can just join up, hack and slash, blast each other with spells and not suffer any penalties for it? We may as well just go back to playing UO.

I hate to sound like an ass, but if you make a spell caster, and you can't make him/her useful unless you use area effect spells... you have like ZERO imagination.

Even if you wanted to use area spells, have the group start using tactics instead of charging in and duking it out toe to toe with monsters. Send in a scout (that's why they're there) have the mage go in first, pepper them with area spells then retreat to the back and let the warriors finish it off. I honestly haven't seen ANYONE use offensive tactics in a mod since Faalor 1, and that's because we were all excited about trying out our new character's skills.

Just my opinion...
