I have heard from the "grape vine" that James Wright III has got the second groove working at Auburndale. If you haven't been there (Auburndale), It's almost as flat as your kitchen table and is known to be a "follow the leader" track. This guy is gonna be a contender at Desoto, with the high banks.
On another note... I have been asked why someone couldn't run a Rochester two BBl carburetor, instead of the Holley 4412. I suppose they run them every week and would rather not go to the expense of a carb and adaptor.The specs I've seen on the two carbs appears to give the flow advantage to the Holley.What say the other racers ?Does anyone see a problem with anyone running a smaller carb.? as long as It hasn't been altered ?
