she sat on the swing, digging her toes in the sand beneath it, her hands curled around the chains. Her lower lip stuck out in a slight pout. She was in a grumpy mood and she was doing her best to keep it that way, just because her mother had told her to snap out of it earlier. She hated being told what to do when she was grumpy it only made things worse. She needed cheering up

It took littler persausion for the dog to go trotting past Max happily into her lap, seeking out her hands for treats. He sighs raggedly and follows the dog over "You'll have to trail around with me till I get this dumb dog back to my sister- you'd think he'd apriciate being out of the apartment..."
