Then she begins a series of rather rough taps. Pressing her ear to the side, she listens intently. Her emerald eyes sister stares at her and giggles softly, also anxious for a response... Her twin sister beams happy to be near her mother again and launchs into a series of trills and cirps, obviously her way of comunicating her joy. The other snorts and unleashes a couple short chirps. And for a second the egg seems suspended in time and space, not moving. Then with a tremendous effort, the shadowy ruby egg splits and the hatchling comes out, shrieking independence. With a shove she frees herself from her last prison and looks at the new world with widened eyes that seem to no end gobble all that is seen. Stepping away from the eggs remains, the newest drcling stands proud, if somewhat weak. Bats playfully at her as she rises away and then turns her attention to her sister. Lighting quick, she had pounced upon her sibling and mouth is attempting to close over her ear. Twin in color and body snarls slightl and rolls back, tossing her sister off of her. Righting herself quickly, her attention floats to the newest and she also raises her doubts about the idea of coming from an egg with a sharp cry. Staring at the ruby quickly becomes boring and she toddles over to the cave exit, glaring at her sister before quickly bolting out of the cave. After watching the strange ones that were taller than her own self she turns to staring at the cave in which she was in. Giving her small ruby colored wings an experimental flap, she goes to gaze at a wall. Becoming bored with that, she returns to stare at her mother, craning her tiny neck to see the top of the dragoness. Shaking her head in exasperation, the small red gal walks backward staring still upward, seeing if she could then see the giant dragoness's head. Walking so far backwards on yet unsturdy legs, she trips and falls. Chirrping her surprise, she looks to see what had tripped her up and recognized the ruby tail as her own, which had caught up in her hind legs. Laughing, she settles her feet and tail so that they'd not trip her up again. Forgetting what she was doing before she prances around happily.)( [ Post a Reply to This Message ]

She smirks playfully, scoops Fiona up, and goes after them. When she finally catches up, she wishes she had two more arms instead of one. She picked both Levlynn and Leila up in one arm, a feat that she was surprised she could accomplish. She hurried back into the cave, putting all of her daughters down carefully. Staring wide eyed, she glimpses the rest of the territory, surprised that something more is out there. Watching her mother struggle to pick the odd twins up, she drinks up all the sights, slightly frightened that there were more dragons than she'd initially thought. Her brain starts to think of ways to escape, more stealthily than the twins who just walked out. As she was set down, a plan was firmly in her mind, but decides to sleep before acting on it.
