Hello Michael and welcome to our community of AT40 followers :)

I was quite new to this just few months ago, but here's what I learned (in past few months):

There are few ways of "starting":

1) Trading - the best and the cheapest way, if you have any radio show somewhere round your house and can copy them (usually these days most of us who trade wants them on CD-R's), there are lots of us who (wants to) trade.

Just go to this address and (try to) find someone to trade with:

You can view my list at:

2) Purchasing shows - there are lots of stores (especially on the internet where you can actually buy old AT40/CT40/WT40 shows. You have to have patience, time and money for that one. Just start surfing and search - Google is quite good, IMHO.
I found great bargains this way, as low as $3/show :)

3) eBay - auctions; place where you can bid for shows... it's where you can find lots of shows (but some of them go for a big buck). Not really recommended, but if you want to get original stuff, it's one way.

I started by getting some of the shows from e-Bay and after that got into trading (thanks to Rob, who was the first one to trade with me!) and now my (trade-buddies) and show list is getting bigger and bigger - growing every single week.

Good luck!
Cheers.
Nenad.
