Actually, AT40 DID use the R&R chart(s) for this week's countdown (dated 01/10/03), the same which came out mid week. Thus, AT40 actually skipped the unpublished 01/03/03 chart which vcan be found on another web site:
<a rel=nofollow target=_blank href="http://www.webspawner.com/users/weeklyhit40/ai.html">http://www.webspawner.com/users/weeklyhit40/ai.html</a>

I was puzzled at first my self, knowing/expecting the countdown found above to be the one aired on radio this weekend (10th/11th)!?

Would this be like the show using the Billboard charts that come out each Thursday(?) for the immediate weekend, rather than for the magazine dated the folowing Saturday nine (9) days later?

****Implications for those AT40 fans include the following:
Debut dates, weeks on chart, in top ten, and even at #1....

i.e Supposedly Jennifer Lopez f/ LL Cool J was the top debut way up at #17, but in actuality was a debut at #33 on R&R on
01/03/03.
The Dixie Chicks move 40 to 29, and do not debut at that latter position.
t.A.T.u. 's impresive move from 38 to 23 was actually 9 spots, up from #32.
Ditto goes for Avril Levigne's 17 to 4 move, although still an impressive 10-4 move, good buddy.
Finally, "Beautiful" was the new #1, replacing "Lose Yourself" who lost(?) a week at the top...it's 6th.

It may be time for Rob to write a supplement to his book, or at the least include this in the sites
"Timeline of Key Dates in the History of American Top 40."
