More liberal? I listen to country myself and while "Travelin' Soldier" went to #1 on Billboard's country chart, it isn't an anti-war song. The hottest song on country airwaves is Darryl Worley's "Have You Forgotten?" which clearly echos a conservative viewpoint on the current events.
If anything, country listeners tend to be quite a bit more conservative than the rest of the population and the views of a Dixie Chick does not change that.
