"Casey's Top 40" I believe is still owned by WW1. It may be one of those things that, like AT40, may eventually revert ownership to Casey, if he indeed ever held any part of it.

However, if WW1 maintains control over those shows, I'd guess there'd be little, if any, chance of hearing them broadcast again in the future. Casey's partings with WW1 were less than smooth from WW1's standpoint (don't forget they attempted a lawsuit), so WW1 may not want those shows on the air again. But, that's purely speculation. Who knows?

As regards the airing of Shadoe's shows...I guess the thing to think about is that the full name of Premiere's 3-hour show where they play part of an old AT40 show each week is "American Top 40 Flashback WITH CASEY KASEM." It's Casey's show. Yes, eliminating 1980 and 1981, as well as the shows hosted by Shadoe, are going to leave a small archive from which to choose, but so be it.

My advice is this...if FB airs in your market, listen and enjoy it. And one way or the other, if there's a particular AT40 show you're looking for, chances are you can find someone willing to make you a copy via this site.

Scott
